One City, One Family – Investing in Us, Protecting Our Future!
Albany is a family city, and every family deserves the same opportunities to thrive. But for too long, Ward 3—Arbor Hill—has been left behind. Our streets, our schools, our homes, and our businesses don’t get the same investment as other parts of the city. We can’t accept less than the bare minimum.
It’s time to demand more.
I know the struggles our community faces because I’ve lived them. I was funneled through the school-to-prison pipeline, served seven years, and came home to find myself at Albany’s rescue mission because I had no family left. I lost both of my parents while incarcerated. But I also found strength in my community. That strength fuels my passion to change the system that has failed so many of us.
Ward 3 deserves safe housing, strong schools, economic opportunity, and a community that uplifts rather than punishes. I’m running for City Council to fight for a healing-centered Albany—one that invests in its people and treats every neighborhood with dignity and respect.
This campaign is about us—our families, our future, our city.
